Late 1930's Silvertone Radio Repair Journal

I cannot recall the exact model of this Silvertone but if I find out I will post it. It needed new capacitors, plus some wiring repairs. The 6F5 tube and tuning eye also needed to be replaced, and we installed a new audio output transformer salvaged from a Silvertone stereo receiver chassis, plus a new filter choke and permanent magnet speaker. Bad soldering on Silvertone radio.
One problem was that an excessive amount of solder was used on a previous repair job, shorting out the tuning capacitor. We used a solder wick to remove the old stuff and re-did the wiring.
