This Crosley is a
very
high-performance model...it seems to offer some of the best reception
and sound quality we have seen in an old radio. Please click the photos
for larger views.

Here is the Crosley chassis before repairs. In the past, someone
replaced some of the old brittle wiring, however, some was left in, so
we replaced the rest of it. We replaced all capacitors and added a new
power cord and fuse.

Testing the Crosley chassis on the bench. We aligned the AM and
Shortwave bands.

Testing the chassis in the cabinet. The built-in loop antenna
seems to
really give a boost to noise rejection and sensitivity.
