The Newly restored Chautauqua Pavillion and WW1 Cannon. The Chautauqua
was an event featuring lecturers, musical performances and other
entertainment with an edifying theme. Named after Lake Chautauqua in
New York, the Chautauqua was most popular in the Midwest in the late
1800's and early 1900's. Here is a web page
